By Car

The best way to visit Hakkoda Mountains is to use private transport / sightseeing taxi in Aomori. KingTai Travel  has lots of sightseeing taxi in Aomori with afforable price.

JR buses between Aomori (Aomori and Shin-Aomori Stations) and Lake Towada stop off along the way at the Hakkoda Ropeway and various other points around the southeastern base of the mountain.
