By Car
The best way to visit Hells of Beppu is to use private transport / sightseeing taxi in Fukuoka. KingTai Travel has lots of sightseeing taxi in Fukuoka with afforable price.
・JR Beppu Station West Exit → Kamenoi Bus 2, 5, 24, 41 bound for Kannawa for 20 minutes, bus stop: Umi Jigoku-mae or get off at Kannawa, 1 minute walk
・Kannawa → Chi no Ike Jigoku, take bus number 16 and get off at Chi no Ike Jigoku-mae
